This is the biggest rolls handling system never made in Europe using caterpillar belt conveyor. This paper mill, decided to move the rolls coming out from 2 paper machines up to the final storage, using an automatic handling system through a way longer over 300 meters. The supply included any kind of conveyor, like turning tables, elevators, up-enders, lowerators and shuttle cars. The rolls are handled horizontally just before the final storage, where they are vertically stored on a buffer before the final storage.back to Rolls handling index page
