This company has installed a brand new high speed corrugator, new take off area, new WIP and new in-feed lines choosing roller conveyors, but storing the board rotated of 90°. This means the board has to be turned again on the in-feed line, but it gives the advantage to make all conveyors of the same size. The WIP area is designed as three tier WIP, where there is a shuttle car which is feeding the WIP with the board which is coming out from the take- off area. A second shuttle car is moving the order in production form the main WIP area to a secondary WIP area. A third shuttle car is feeding the converting machines. All the shuttle cars are running at high speed to achieve the performance of the corrugator and converting machines.
