Years ago, this company has built a green field plant, choosing roller conveyors on the WIP area. The WIP has been designed as two tier LIFO (last in first out) WIP, where a shuttle car is feeding the WIP with the board which is coming out from the take- off area, and another shuttle car is feeding the converting machines. The shuttle cars are running at high speed to achieve the performance of the corrugator and converting machines. The lines of the WIP, are designed of different sizes according to the production mix of the converting side.
